Datil Elementary is a small rural K-6 school located 0.2 of a mile south of the intersection of HWY 60 and NM 12 on NM 12. Datil Elementary is a satellite campus of ISD #2. It is composed of two classrooms, each classroom contains more than one grade level. Since the classes are very small, each student receives a lot of individual attention. Datil Elementary provides each student with an excellent education and a positive academic experience. Quemado Schools is located just east of the intersection of HWY 60 and NM 36 on HWY 60. Quemado Schools is an integral part of our local rural ranching community. Students are bussed to school from smaller outlying communities making for a culturally diverse student body. The class sizes are small allowing our teachers more time for each student. The staff at each of our campuses truly cares that each student thrives and achieves their academic goals.
