We started in 1981 and are still owned and operated by one of the original owners, Berit Meyer, joined in 1990 by her husband, Brian Ferguson. Ramone's started as a cafe in 1981 in Old Town Eureka, serving international food with a California twist. Due to the popularity of our desserts and baked goods, we opened a bakery around the corner on E Street in 1986. Continuing in our tradition of serving the finest food using the freshest ingredients, the bakery became well-known for delicious pastries, espresso coffees, delectable desserts and unusual varieties of baked breads, as well as our warm atmosphere and friendly service.
