The company was founded in 1974 under the name of Realty and Insurance Services. The insurance department was subsequently sold and property management became our sole business. We currently manage over 4,000 units including apartments, condominiums, mobile home communities, single-family homes and commercial space in seven counties. We employ more than 150 people companywide and are based in Lakewood, WA. Financial accounting and reporting include, but are not limited to, cash and/or accrual financial statements, client specified general ledger chart of accounts, computerized cash receipts, budget control systems for accounts payable, and bad debt collection procedures which start with tenant screening and selection. Administrative controls include contract supervision, and ordinance compliance, confidential records keeping and other professional services. Property management services are a system of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling. We plan for all aspects of the work: business, management, staffing and marketing plans, budget and financial plans, emergency preparedness, property takeover and transition, rehabilitation and/or change-of-use plans. Our computer systems are superior and use the AMSI program for financial reporting. Reeder Management can meet investment property owner's needs anywhere in the greater Puget Sound region. Professionalism and reputation are hallmarks of our company. The company has consistently exhibited the highest degree of ethics and education. Our company employs five Property Supervisors, which include three Certified Property Managers, three licensed Real Estate Brokers, two Masters in Business Degrees and one Real Estate Instructor for a local community college.
