A proficiency in the maintenance and manipulation of the TRAUMA BASE software is essential. Must be able to download data as required by trauma center rules per the ACS and the state trauma rules. Per the American College of Surgeons, there must be at least 0.5 FTEs dedicated to the trauma registry per 200-300 annual patient entries. This position can also serve as secretarial support for the trauma services department.
