The Reiss-Davis Graduate Center, is a program of the Reiss-Davis Child Study Center and Institute, a division of the Vista Del Mar Family of Services. For over 65 years, Reiss-Davis has specialized in child, adolescent and family diagnostics and psychotherapy from a psychodynamic perspective along with educational and emotional psychological diagnostic testing. At the same time, we have offered post-masters and postdoctoral mental health training from a psychodynamic perspective through our Fellowship Programs, as well as research and continuing education in the field of child and adolescent mental health. More recently, through a merger with the Graduate Center for Child Development and Psychotherapy in 2008, we began to offer degree granting graduate education including our One Weekend a Month /3-Years of Courses + Dissertation Project Psy.D Program. Reiss-Davis was originally founded to promote the mental health and well-being of children of the Los Angeles community, by offering clinical services to children and families and mental health training to students and professionals who desire to serve that same mission. Reiss-Davis continues to fulfill that mission by having our clinicians and Fellows provide diagnostic and therapeutic work through our two year Postdoctoral/Post-graduate Fellowship Program at our Vista Del Mar's Outpatient Counseling Center; psychodiagnostic services (PEDS) to assess learning disabilities, emotional dysfunctions and/or autism through our PEDS Fellowship Program; continuing education opportunities for professionals in the field of mental health through our Saturdays at the Center Program.
