The purpose of this Commitment Agreement is to recognize that this student and parent understand that their involvement in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is also one of commitment. The privilege of attending the IB program rests upon the personal responsibility of this student and the parents. In consideration of the Clay County School Board offering this traditional approach to education, we agree that this student will adhere to the expectations in order to remain enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. We understand that Clay County Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization maintain high expectations for individual effort and student behavior. We are committed to these standards. Attending this IB program is a privilege, not a right. As such, we understand that all students are expected to exhibit exemplary behavior. If this student participates in the PIB / IB program at RHS on a Special Pupil Assignment (SPA) attendance waiver from the CCSB, we understand that document must be renewed annually. We understand that if at such time this student chooses to leave or is removed from the PIB/IB Diploma Program, any SPA attendance waiver may be revoked immediately and the student may be reassigned to the zoned school. We agree that this student will attend the Preliminary International Baccalaureate (PIB) Program for a minimum of one (1) full year.
