Job description: The safety specialist role is one that is focused on provided a strong field presence around personal safety. The candidate for this role ideally has several years of safety experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical manufacturing. We are also requiring a 4-year degree for the role. This role is mostly focused on compliance with OSHA standards. They need to have experience with performing field safety audits. Hopefully audits of life critical procedures similar to ours; lock out/ tag out, hot work, confined space entry.
