In 2014, a Fort Worth native and businessman, Kevin Boldt, wanted to honor WWII veterans by taking them to lunch to show appreciation for their service. Kevin had an interest in military history since many of his family members served, including himself. He took a group of about fifteen WWII veterans to lunch; the following month there were about thirty. Each month the group has continued to grow until we are averaging around 275 300 people in attendance each month, with the majority of those being veterans. In 2016, the monthly veterans luncheon was expanded into a larger vision of serving and honoring veterans in our community, including a Befriend-a-Vet/home visitation program, creating internship opportunities for college students and service learning projects for high school and junior high students, as well as other community outreach and education programs. Thus, Roll Call was established. In early 2017 Roll Call received its non-profit status for veterans 501(c)(19) designation, and on 10 July 2018 its tax-exempt 501(c)(3) designation.

  2. Storytelling: Planning, creating and presenting stories or narratives to achieve diverse personal and business goals.
  3. Photography: Photography is the art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. It is employed in many fields of science, manufacturing (e.g., photolithography), and business, as well as its more direct uses for art, film and video production, recreational purposes, hobby, and mass communication. Typically, a lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure. With an electronic image sensor, this produces an electrical charge at each pixel, which is electronically processed and stored in a digital image file for subsequent display or processing. The result with photographic emulsion is an invisible latent image, which is later chemically "developed" into a visible image, either negative or positive depending on the purpose of the photographic material and the method of processing. A negative image on film is traditionally used to photographically create a positive image on a paper base, known as a print, either by using an enlarger or by contact printing.

In some cases, authors may be their own publishers, meaning originators and developers of content also provide media to deliver and display their content. Also, the word "publisher" can refer both to an individual who leads a publishing company or an imprint and to an individual who owns/heads a magazine. Traditionally, the term refers to the distribution of printed works, such as books (the "book trade") and newspapers. With the advent of digital information systems and the Internet, the scope of publishing has expanded to include electronic resources such as the electronic versions of books and periodicals, as well as micropublishing, websites, blogs, video game publishers, and the like. Publishing includes the following stages of development: acquisition, copy editing, production, printing (and its electronic equivalents), marketing, and distribution.
