The majority of projects we have undertaken involve working directly with public agencies including special districts, cities, counties and the State of California, through their public works or transportation offices. Another key component of our practice is liaison work with major rail transportation companies such as the Union Pacific Railroad and the BNSF Railway. In addition to major facilities projects, Ruettgers & Schuler Civil Engineers has conducted more than five hundred (500) transportation studies in Kern County and the San Joaquin Valley, including traffic impact analysis for major solar and wind energy projects, Master Plan Communities, Major Retail Commercial Developments, and the preparation of project level Major Transportation design studies.
