**Job Description** GENERAL PURPOSE Supervise day-to-day shop activities and fleet mechanics who provide preventative and corrective maintenance for DFA-owned equipment. Plan, schedule, and document repair work to ensure that all work is done in a safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and execute the daily/weekly plan for assigned shop location(s) to accomplish preventative maintenance and set or reevaluate priorities depending on location needs. Provide direction to mechanics to ensure that the fleet is repaired and maintained in a safe, efficient, and timely manner with the highest quality Supervise the financial status of assigned location(s) and monitor and control labor, supplies, and cost. Oversee shop inventory control system to ensure necessary equipment and parts levels are maintained and purchases are within budget. Review and approve expenses that are within scope of approval level; refer larger expenses or major repair
