Job Description (in Seasoned) - A Hooters Kitchen employee is an integral part of the day-to-day operations at every Hooters restaurant. The Hooters Kitchen employee is responsible for consistently executing all Hooters kitchen systems and standards to provide the guest the highest quality food products. The Kitchen employee adheres to all Hooters recipe specifications while preparing or cooking any Hooters menu item and is accountable for safe food handling, food quality standards, and picture perfect presentation. The Kitchen employee demonstrates a willingness to be a team player, has a positive attitude, and meets all Hooters kitchen uniform and grooming standards. The Kitchen Staff handles the majority of the prep for all ingredients going into dishes during service. This position often works under little supervision, so you must be able to follow recipes and be well-versed in a variety of food products and techniques. The quality of the prep work is instrumental in the quality of the finished product, so attention to detail is paramount.

As the kitchen manager, you’ll take complete responsibility for every plate that gets served and the overall direction of the menu. You’ll be expected to innovate and iterate on the menu to provide creative, quality food while meeting profit goals. You will be responsible for hiring and supervising the kitchen staff and coaching employees on consistency, technique and skills.

As a Kitchen Staff, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

As kitchen manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations of production in our commissary kitchen of prepackaged foods to be delivered to our retail storefront or directly to customer’s homes via our in house delivery service. You will be responsible for hiring and supervising the kitchen staff as well as coaching employees on consistency, technique and skills. You will be responsible for sourcing ingredients, ordering produce and assigning daily tasks to kitchen staff. You'll be expected to maintain health code requirements and provide a safe work environment to ensure all standards and procedures are followed. Food managers certificate required. Bilingual preferred.
