What you will do The Design Engineer will design and price Fire Detection and Life Safety Systems to meet standards like BS5839-1, MOJ specifications, BS7273, BS6266 and more. An understanding of networking principles is essential for interconnected systems. Designs will utilize AutoCAD, based on printed plans for both complete systems and modifications to existing clients’ buildings and site operations. You will manage all technical aspects of design and tender delivery, demonstrating a commercial mindset and presenting technology solutions to customers as needed.
