Manager, Sales Salary at Shining Star BETA

Essential Functions Supervise, assist and travel with territory managers. Assist and support V.P.-General Manager. Work with territory managers and customer service to improve margins. Establish/follow-through on goals and forecasts. Establish pricing, support and implement price increases. Facilitate sales meetings and customer functions. Identify and train potential territory managers. Evaluate equipment and personnel needs in both Sales department. Evaluate department personnel in regard to merit raises, promotions and special recognitions. Maintain direct sales responsibility for a few select strategic accounts. Competency Statement Must be able to manage multiple people/tasks. Requires strong leadership abilities, motivation and coaching skills. Must be well organized to stay on top of direct reports and their accounts. Strong knowledge of the corrugated or paper/converting markets is a must.
