Job Description Job Description Primary Responsibilities: This is a test technician position in an independent mechanical test lab, serving a wide variety of industrial companies in space, aerospace, materials, and general manufacturing, as well as universities and research laboratories. The new hires may not possess many of the following skills but should have demonstrated the ability to acquire these skills. 1. Interpret customer test requirements into test standards and identify required test fixtures and equipment. 2. Interact with the machine shop to get the required specimens, fixtures etc. machined. 3. Set up the test equipment, perform necessary calibrations and conduct relevant tests. 4. Interact with the customer as needed, while running the tests. 5.
