Skagit Farmers Supply is a locally owned and controlled cooperative with a board of directors comprised of five area farmers. The company serves farmers, homeowners, businesses, families and the communities in Skagit, Island, San Juan and Snohomish Counties in northwest Washington state. Since 1934, Skagit Farmers Supply has been a committed part of the local community, supplying quality products, services and up-to-date technology. In fact, we are not just part of the community, as a cooperative (co-op), we're owned by the community we serve. For over 75 years, Skagit Farmers Supply has grown from its beginning as a 46-member co-op that opened to serve the fuel needs of local Grange members into a company with thousands of members and serving the needs of members and non-members alike in four counties. Over time, we've added six retail stores, two agronomy sites, a dairy and water division, fuel stations and five propane bulk plants. Our members and customers are now spread throughout Skagit, Island, San Juan and Snohomish counties. We are affiliated with major manufacturers and suppliers to bring our patrons top quality supplies for the farm and home. Throughout the years, some things have stayed the same. At the heart, we are the same company that began to meet the needs of the members. We are still a locally owned and controlled co-op with a Board of Directors made up of five area farmers. We still pay patronage to our members in the form of cash payments and stock equity (more than $24 million since 1934), and are still dedicated to providing value, service and expertise to every member and customer.
