Lead the daily activities in the financial reporting, external audit and tax areas to ensure: Completion of the annual external audit plan in conjunction with the external auditors. Serve as the primary point of contact for the external auditors Completion of the annual tax return calendar, including coordination with the external tax advisors as well as other members of management. Completion of all hospital tax filings including but not limited to the annual 990 tax filings, state tax filings and miscellaneous other filings.
