Regular Full-time Hourly Position Position Purpose The image and reputation of the Garden depend upon well-maintained Garden facilities and supporting infrastructure. The major priority of the Maintenance Technician is to keep the Gardens Infrastructure, Buildings and Systems in top operational condition and appearance. The Technician is responsible for the overall care, preventative and corrective maintenance of all facilities, equipment and infrastructure (excluding plant bed areas/systems) throughout the Desert Botanical Garden. Essential Duties General Maintenance: Keep the Garden's buildings, roads, parking lots, utilities, fences, gates and fleet vehicles in good operating condition. Service the Garden's electrical, plumbing, mechanical and refrigeration systems and follow the schedule of planned preventative maintenance activities prepared by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
