Stansfield Vending was founded in Winona, Minnesota in 1942 by our grandfather, Jim Stansfield, Sr. He owned a restaurant back then and saw how significant the music machine or "juke box" was to his business. He bought one machine of his own, then one for a friend, then another-all the while working out of his garage to warehouse and service the machines. Soon he was branching out into other amusement machines like pool tables and video games. The growing business relocated to La Crosse, Wisconsin in the 1950's. In 1966, our father, Jim Stansfield, Jr. joined the company and began selling 5 cent candy bars out of vending machines. The rest is history. Today, we are a company of over 200 employees at our two locations in La Crosse and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We now service over 2,000 customers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. Our secret to success and longevity is deeply rooted in our past. The strong ideals of service, value and reliability that our grandfather founded this company on are still alive and well in everything we do. We set ourselves apart from our competition with these ideals.
