The CT technologist effectively operates CT equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Emergency Department and the Emergency Department. The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates and uses appropriate protocols and obtains optimum images of specified anatomy. The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.
