Job Summary: Behavioral Health Intake Navigator Works under the Behavioral Health Central Intake Supervisor to process intakes for behavioral health services. Key responsibilities include: Client Interviews & Documentation: Conducts detailed interviews to gather demographic, insurance, and medical information, including mental health and substance use history. Accurately documents interactions in client records. Client Navigation & Scheduling: Directs clients to appropriate providers based on service needs, insurance, and medical history. Schedules initial assessments and coordinates interpreter services as needed. Referral Processing & Eligibility: Manages referrals from internal and external sources (e.g., DCS, courts) and determines client eligibility based on treatment recommendations, insurance, and location.
