POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Genomic Specialist will be responsible for increasing the number of Hereditary Cancer test samples sent to Natera in his/her territory. The Clinical Genomic Specialist will focus on the Genetic Counselor call point within Cancer Centers. The individual will work closely with peers within the oncology team on pulling through units across the system from specialties including Oncology and Surgical Oncology. Success is accomplished by the system selecting Natera as their lab of choice and then working within the system to pull through the units. The Clinical Genomic Specialist will play a key role in working with the system to secure blood draw agreements and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) integration to maximize success.
