Tim's Band Instrument Service was founded in 1977 on the repair bench by Tim Lawrence. Tim developed and grew the business and eventually moved a couple of doors down the building into the corner suite with much more room. The store was known for the outstanding repairs, and quality instruments, and a grand selection of mouthpieces and reeds. Scott and Melissa Mandeville purchased the business on May 1st, 2005. Scott continued to grow the business from the repair bench, and expand on the original concept. Scott and Melissa moved Tim's Band Instrument Service on December 1st 2009 to its current location at 2812 Marconi Ave just over a mile from the original location to better serve the needs of the customers. The beautiful new show room is warm and inviting, and is staffed with the best people around. Tim's Music now has 7 lesson studios with great teachers and offers lessons on all band instruments, violin family, and guitar. All of our teachers are of the highest quality, and have many years experience. Check out the teachers info here. The repair shop also got a boost in size during the move. We have placed the ultrasonic cleaner in the front window of the shop for you to see the results of this great technology. We also upgraded much of the tooling and have incorporated loads of new technology in the repair shop. We upgrade our skills and tooling constantly to best serve your repair needs. Tim's Music also expanded our print music offerings. We now carry in stock an expanded list of method books that are the core of the school music requirements. We also have an ever growing stock of piano methods, and exercise books for all of your other print needs. Tim's Music also has the Sheet Music Direct music search system ready to search of 50,000 music titles and print them right here in our store. Come on in and check out our print selection frequently.
