Tobys Battery & Auto Electric, LLC is locally owned and operated, opening its doors in January 1997, with only a couple thousand dollars and a beat-up Ford pickup truck. We hired our first employee in October 1997 in our original, one-bay shop. In the beginning, Tobys specialized in automotive electrical repair, and batteries for autos, boats, RVs and motorcycles and has morphed over time to include batteries for everything, battery accessories, chargers, battery recycling, custom wiring, UPS systems, recreational solar and wind systems, automotive accessories, auto and marine audio, remote starts, security, complete auto repair and so much more. In 2004, Tobys moved to an eight-bay shop with a large showroom and over 5,000 square feed at 3003 Crestline. Our original location at 3211 N Cook is used for battery recycling and storage. Expanding more in 2013, we opened a second storefront location at 5417 E Trent. We are continuing to expand our products and services to better serve both the retail and commercial markets. Today, Tobys is the premier automotive electrical specialist with a crew of non-commissioned technicians and service advisors. We pride ourselves on being a family-operated business committed to our communities. Tobys has three locations to serve your needs and over 60 years of combined experience.
