Welcome to the Town of Grover, Taylor County, Wisconsin The Town of Grover is located in North Central Taylor County, Wisconsin, entirely within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The Town of Grover has approximately 231 full time residents and numerous vacation homes. View Town of Grover demographics. The Town of Grover has many excellent fishing lakes including public access to Kathryn Lake, Anderson Lake, Richter Lake and Spruce Lake. Kathryn Lake also has a Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest federal campground, boat launch and swimming area. The Town of Grover also has approximately 20 miles of two-way traffic for ATVs, snowmobiles and off road cycles on the Perkinstown Motorized Trail, which winds its way through Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. These trails are maintained by several of the areas snowmobile and ATV clubs. For wintertime fun there is the Perkinstown Winter Sports Area for tubing and 22 miles of well groomed cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. The Perkinstown Winter Sports Area has a warming chalet with a fireplace and serves food and beverages. Take a moment to learn more about our town!
