About Tsongas Center
The Tsongas is home to the NCAA Division I UMass Lowell River Hawks Hockey and Basketball teams. In addition to exciting UMass Lowell Athletics action, the Tsongas Center hosts concerts, family shows, sporting events, trade shows and conferences. Some of the world's biggest stars have performed before capacity crowds here in Lowell. We can seat 6,500 patrons for hockey and up to 7,800 for concerts
