Description The Group Exercise Instructor will enthusiastically lead group exercise classes safely and securely and within the guidelines of the Hagerstown Field House. This part-time position reports directly to the Fitness Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be at least 18 years of age Lead group exercise class while adhering to safety guidelines and regulations Maintain all necessary certifications needed to maintain employment and teach classes Begin and end class on time Prepare/coordinate appropriate exercises for scheduled class Ensure equipment is put away and studio is ready for next class Report incidents, inquiries, complaints to the Fitness Director Secure a substitute for class when unable to work. Inform supervisor of substitute and confirm with substitute Track attendance Must be physically able to perform workout Must be able to prepare/choreograph exercises that are appropriate for designated class CPR/AED certified Knowledge of and respect for Hagerst
