Job Description Job Description E2 Optics needs 40 cable helpers/construction laborers/technicians for a data center project in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Our job is to install the cabling and infrastructure that runs the hardware inside the data center. We have to physically pull each cable from point A to point B We have to label each cable to know what they are/what they do/where they go We have to bundle the cables together in neat bundles and Velcro them together. Often times we will have to comb the cables – just like using a comb for your hair but for cables. Ensures that the cables are nice and neat and all going the same direction. We have to test and certify the cables to ensure that they’re working correctly.
