Job Description Job Description Proficient in EEG setup and execution with 2 years of experience. Skilled in identifying abnormalities and artifacts. Certification preferred. Proficient in EEG discussions with patient. Collaborative team player for office environment. Having familiarity with Athena EMR offers a distinct advantage. Qualifications: EDUCATION Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of basic EEG technician training. EXPERIENCE Two (2) to three (3) years as an EEG Technician performing routine and specialized electroencephalography laboratory procedures. Experience to include critical care and neonatal electrodiagnostic procedures. LICENSURE R.EEG.T. National Board Certification Required plus one additional board certification (R.EP.T., R.PSG.T., CNIM, or CLTM). SPECIAL SKILLS Possession of the skills and knowledge required by the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologists for certification. National Board Certification is required.
