The Grant Accountant provides primary accounting function for all grant monitoring administration, compliance, grant accounting, and financial reports of awarded grants through their final closing. The Grant Accountant is also responsible for oversight of other donor restricted funds received by the College. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: 1. Set up new grants, which includes, but is not limited to Post-award responsibilities include the review of the final grant documentation, documenting the restrictions and developing the budget to actual reporting and the GL codes for the award, continued monitoring of the transactions related to each grant through review of payroll, PCard, and other procurement vehicles, providing authorization for the identified transactions. Calculates and records the indirect cost allowance to each grant, as appropriate on a semi-annual basis. Manage accounts payable and receivable activities for grant subcontracts.
