Our client is seeking a Mechanical Designer who will use computer-based tools to design parts and assemblies, create production drawings, and manage BOMs and product configurators. The Mechanical Designer will support the team focused on new product development and will also originate, develop, or modify product designs from conception to finished manufacturing documentation assuring quality, manufacturability, functionality, serviceability, and cost has been considered. Key Responsibilities: Create engineering documentation including SolidWorks, modeling, fabrication and purchase drawings that conform to client’s standards. Translate engineering/marketing intent into manufacturing working 3D layouts, detailed documentation and Bill of Materials and configurators. Work with VAVE/Product Engineers and Production Engineers to provide 3D models and documentation for original designs or custom modifications of current products.
