We are seeking a CPU System Validation Engineer for an exciting 12-month contract in Folsom, CA. This is a 100% onsite role with a leading semiconductor innovator. Key Responsibilities: Perform system-level debug to isolate failures in CPU/IP domains. Collaborate with architecture, firmware (BIOS), and OS teams for validation coverage. Drive post-silicon bring-up, testing, and issue resolution. Develop validation test plans and support product adoption. Required Skills & Experience: BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or related). 3+ years in CPU/system validation (x86 experience a plus). Hands-on post-silicon debug (lab environment). Proficiency in Python/C/C++ for test automation. Strong knowledge of RTL, logic design, and digital circuits. Experience with Linux OS and hardware/firmware interactions.
