Requirements and Responsibilities

Inclusion and Diversity Director directs and leads the administration of programs that promote inclusion, diversity, and belonging for all employees. Champions employee connection, promotes inclusion, and drives initiatives that strengthen belonging across the organization. Being an Inclusion and Diversity Director designs and implements initiatives responsible for incorporating inclusion, diversity, and belonging topics and best practices into relevant programs and organizational initiatives. Ensures compliance with internal polices and external inclusion regulations. Additionally, Inclusion and Diversity Director stays abreast of emerging trends and changes to applicable regulations and makes recommendations to policy changes as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Inclusion and Diversity Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Inclusion and Diversity Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
