Requirements and Responsibilities

Inclusion and Diversity Manager manages the administration of programs that promote inclusion, diversity, and belonging for all employees. Champions employee connection, promotes inclusion, and drives initiatives that strengthen belonging across the organization. Being an Inclusion and Diversity Manager oversees initiatives responsible for incorporating inclusion, diversity, and belonging topics and best practices into relevant programs and organizational initiatives. Ensures compliance with internal polices and external inclusion regulations. Additionally, Inclusion and Diversity Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Inclusion and Diversity Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inclusion and Diversity Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
