Requirements and Responsibilities

Leasing Consultant facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy and high renewal rates. Adheres to company policies and procedures to ensure compliant and ethical leasing activities and operations. Being a Leasing Consultant coordinates move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings. Ensures paperwork of current and prospective tenants is completed accurately. Additionally, Leasing Consultant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Leasing Consultant works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Leasing Consultant typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
