Partnership Business Development Director directs the organization's identification, development, and management of strategic partnerships with other organizations to realize key objectives, gain operational efficiencies, address unmet market needs, and create new customers and markets. Directs research to identify business opportunities, conduct due diligence, and develop plans and strategies for new alliances. Being a Partnership Business Development Director negotiates with new partners to formalize alliances and relationships. Implements partnerships with stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, Partnership Business Development Director monitors results and outcomes to develop ongoing methods to optimize the value of alliances. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Partnership Business Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Partnership Business Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
