Reliability Engineer III analyzes the reliability in design, cost, weight, production and consumer satisfaction of company products. Develops the methods and measures of analysis based on customer and contractual obligations. Being a Reliability Engineer III prepares reports, charts and diagrams to disclose results and highlight areas for further investigation. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Reliability Engineer III typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Reliability Engineer III typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.
