We are a specialty contractor looking for a qualified Accounting Clerk to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment with deadlines and daily requirements. Responsibilities and Duties

· Daily posting of incoming bills

· Accounts Payable duties

• Cross trained on Accounts Receivable – posting deposits, sending out Proformas and other duties

· Processing Contracts, pay apps, pre-liens, DIR requirements

· Experience with sales tax filings, business licenses

· Month end Closing procedures

· Maintain asset, liability, and other sub ledgers

· Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents

· Maintain accounting controls

· Assist with preparation of audit sampling package for external, internal audits

· Maintain various reconciliation accounts

· Inventory analysis

· Adhoc reports and projects

· Maintain filing

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

· Multi-tasker

· Motivated, self-starter

· Accounting software experience

· Work independently, interact in team

· Outstanding phone and email etiquette

· Bookkeeping background

· Ability to take and follow direction

· Productive

· Dependable

· College degree or actively pursuing ongoing education

· 3-5 years accounting experience

· Prioritize and organize workload

· Available to work overtime during peak monthly billing cycles

Salary: Commensurate on experience and education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.46 - $23.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
