Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Communications Editor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Communications Editor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the content team to understand client objectives and develop creative concepts for video content.
    • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality vertical videos that align with client brand guidelines and objectives.
    • Utilize industry-standard editing software and tools to enhance video quality, including color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
    • Ensure timely delivery of video projects, adhering to project deadlines and client expectations.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to video projects.
    • Maintain organized file management systems to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration within the team.
    • Communicate regularly with project managers and clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or feedback.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
    • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and/or Davinci Resolve.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling and aesthetics.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video specifications and best practices.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
