Contact Center Director directs all aspects of an organization's contact center policies, objectives, operations, and initiatives. Analyzes operations and develops key performance criteria and standards to monitor and manage agents' performance. Being a Contact Center Director establishes operational targets, best practices, and training programs that support service, quality, and efficiency standards. Researches state-of-the-art operations and technology used by contact centers to identify and adopt models and tools to enhance the customer experience and drive efficiency improvements. Additionally, Contact Center Director develops collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to maintain effective operations and deliver optimal results. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Contact Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Contact Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Description


    This position is responsible for partnering with the Center Director in leading the center to meet PRH mandates and DOL goals. Provides oversight over the center and provides leadership to all departments, helping to ensure center success.

    • Ensuring compliance with DOL, PRH, FAR, OSHA, the Federal Register, and other regulatory guidelines.
    • Overseeing the communication and immediate application of all directives put forth by DOL/Equus.
    • Auditing existing center systems to ensure that all departments follow DOL/Equus directives.
    • Ensuring that fiscal expenditures are in line with Equus, FAR and DOL guidelines.
    • Monitoring and providing departmental guidance to areas of concern where oversight is needed.
    • Overseeing center participation on WIA Boards and Youth Councils
    • Ensuring that an Industrial Advisory Committee is in place and assisting the center with recommendations on vocational offerings and training programs.
    • Ensuring community involvement through community directed activities, work-based learning, and center participation in community events.
    • Overseeing full implementation of the Career Development Services Systems plan.
    • Coordinating efforts with other sub-contractors who may be providing support services on the center.
    • Developing and training of staff leading to optimal student achievement.
    • Assesses personnel needs and works with the Human Resources department to screen and interview potential staff. Recommends promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department. Conducts and prepares performance appraisals.
    • Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
    • Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
    • Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
    • Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field.
    • Eight years of related experience. Job Corps experience preferred.
    • Three to Five years related supervisory experience.
    • Experience working with diverse youth.
    • A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
