Customer Service Manager manages a team or unit of customer service representatives and ensures service levels are met or exceeded. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Service Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Accounting Office Manager

    Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities:

    • Supervises accounts payable clerks and accounts receivable clerks.
    • Reviews and approves reports, financial statements, accounts payable invoices and general ledger entries.
    • Assists in the implementation of policies and procedures to establish internal controls to ensure company polices and procedures are being followed.
    • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
    • Oversight of the accounting office personnel
    • Responsible for adherence to company policies and internal control structure
    • Proactively manage and safeguard company assets.
    • Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by the management team.
    • Work with the management staff of the company to review the data and prepare reports/analysis as necessary.
    • Ensure that new hires are properly trained and have weekly check-ins the first 90 days of their employment.
    • They will be responsible for maintaining an accurate representation of the companies' financial transactions as well as conducting monthly reconciliation on all accounts and advising owners and or companies' accounting firms of any discrepancies.
    • Familiar with every desk in the business office.
    • Train and support team members in their responsibilities of reviewing, approving, and processing invoices from vendors and suppliers.
    • Works closely with our Controller resolve any outstanding AP or AR issues
    • Review PO’s and associated change orders for accuracy and correct cost allocation
    • Train and support team member to ensure all the required reports are prepared timely and accurately
    • Ensure effective team coverage for all field accounting, and administrative/clerical duties
    • Maintain ongoing contact with various jobsites, regional offices, and departments to customers and vendors. 
    • Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.

     

    Core Competencies:

    • Oversee accounting procedures and lead your team to greater levels of success
    • Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of accounting principles
    • Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products – Excel, Word, Office 365
    • Ability to coach and recognize your team regularly.
    • Candidates must have knowledge of general accounting terms and procedures including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
