Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. HOURS: Sunday - Thursday, 3 am to 11 am
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED (preferred). Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions. On-the-job training provided. Must be self-motivated and dependable.
DUTIES: Clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas following established policies and procedures, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Hospital. Ability to work according to established schedule for specific hospital area.
Hourly based on experience. Full benefits package offered this includes shift differential, medical insurance with an option of free employee only plan, dental and vision insurance. 401K with match after 6-months. Vacation and sick leave.
