POSITION SUMMARY
This is a full-time position located in Fairview Heights, IL.
The Prevention Supervisor has lead responsibility for overseeing all program grant services, including development, monitoring program staff, implementation, and reporting. This position works closely with the agency grant writer and Director of Community Support Services to develop new programs and expand current services. Conduct interviews and select and supervise staff working in grant programs. Assures compliance with grant requirements, including financial and program components. Represents the agency at community events, and meetings, provides direct client services, and leads coalitions as needed. Models CARE principles for staff and clients and supports staff as they provide services aligned with the CARE model.

One of the essential job functions of any position within the agency is to align their performance with our overarching philosophy of CARE. All decisions, actions, communication, and performance should align with the six CARE principles (Developmentally Focused, Family Involved, Relationship Based, Ecologically Oriented, Competence Centered, and Trauma Informed). Not only must the staff complete the CARE training with satisfactory participation, but they must then put that training into practice in their everyday work.
Every employee must also pass TCI training with a satisfactory grade in written and/or physical testing. All employees must remain current on refresher training that is provided monthly at all locations. Staff will be tested every 6 months on the physical portion, if applicable to the position. Staff will be tested annually on the written portion regardless of the position. If staff are not current on the TCI refresher training every six months, they will be required to retake the full course. If they do not pass either test, they may be required to retake the full course. Not only must a staff complete the TCI training with satisfactory participation, but they must then put that training into practice in their everyday work.
