Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Implements an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity. Additionally, Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Human Resources Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Human Resources Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     • Learning & Development Advocate: Collaborate on the development and delivery of training programs that empower our employee-owners to grow personally and professionally and contribute to our collective success.
    • Job Description Curator: Keep our job descriptions current and compelling, collaborating with managers to ensure they reflect the unique opportunities available to our employee owners.

    • Policy Architect: Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures that reflect our values as employee-owners and support our mission of shared success.

    • Portal Custodian: Keep our HR portal up-to-date and user-friendly, ensuring easy access to essential resources for our team members.
    • Event Organizer: Assist in planning and coordinating events that celebrate our shared successes and strengthen our bonds as a family.

    Qualifications

    • SHRM CP or SCP certification preferred, or PHR/SPHR certification.
    • Previous experience in a similar HR role, demonstrating proficiency in all areas of HR operations.
    • Strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous improvement.
