Instructor - Business Administration teaches courses in the discipline area of business administration and management. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Business Administration provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Business Administration typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2024-2025, $1,911 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.

     Other Conditions:

    • For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. 
    • Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    1. Teach assigned courses in Business Administration, General.
    2. Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
    3. Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
    4. Work under supervision of division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area.
    5. As needed, work with multi-media presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites.

    Minimum Qualifications
    1. Master's degree in relevant discipline or CPA for lecturers in Business Administration.
    2. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

    Desirable Qualifications
    1. College teaching experience.
