  • •   Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards. 
    •   Manage investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings, manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders. 
    •   Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance. 
    •   Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to area managers and plant managers. 
    •   Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment. 


    Additional Responsibilities: 
       •   Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of EHS professionals.
    •   Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.
    •   Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization. 
    •   Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections.
    •   Ensure all new equipment meets all legal and YF requirements. 
    •   Manage the plant’s occupational health provider. 
    •   Set the standard and cultivate the EHS culture in the plant.

    ·   Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
    ·   Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
    ·   Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).

    Area of Study: EHS or related field.


    *Equivalent work experience or professional certifications obtained by applicants (e.g. CSP, CIH, CHMM, Registered Nurse, etc.) may also be considered for certain positions.
