MWI is seeking a Licensed Clinician to join our practice who will provide therapeutic services of all psychiatric services alongside Clay Pavlis, MD.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated clinician. Interested candidates must have experience and be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally.

• Assessment and Treatment Planning: Therapists assess clients' mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crises that may arise during therapy sessions or in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any other required documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and provide a holistic approach to treatment.
• Education and Support: Educate clients about mental health, coping mechanisms, and strategies for maintaining mental well-being. Offer support and encouragement throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications:

• Education: A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Licensing: Must be licensed as a mental health professional in SD (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, CSW, PIP LISAC, LASAC).
• Experience: Previous experience in mental health counseling, especially in an intensive outpatient setting, is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is also important.
• Empathy and Compassion: Given the nature of the work, a high level of empathy and compassion is crucial to connect with clients and provide effective therapeutic support.
