Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office and ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of office operations, including administrative tasks, financial management, and personnel coordination
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning, including monitoring expenses and preparing financial reports
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and perform journal entries as needed
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Sage) to maintain accurate financial records
- Provide support in technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as auditors or government agencies, on financial matters
- Oversee office inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Coordinate office maintenance and repairs as necessary
- Manage employee schedules, time off requests, and other personnel-related tasks
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new employees

Requirements:

- Proven experience in office management or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in public accounting or governmental accounting is a plus
