The qualified individual has at least 8 years of backend SAP systems support experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, CA.The Sr. IT Systems Analyst - SAP is responsible for:
- Managing the Financial Applications and related partners daily, continuously improving performance.
- The Financial Applications and related integrations and Level 2 support to resolve production issues as well as explore opportunities in finance integrations.
- Supporting migration of new technologies for SAP and non-SAP related activities.
- Creating, testing and planning cases for system integration tests and UAT
- Coordinating implementation tasks with the offshore development team.
- Working collaboratively with other departments.
The Sr. IT Systems Analyst - SAP has:- 8 years of work experience in a Financial Applications analyst function.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC 6.0 Finance and Controlling Function with SAP S/4 HANA knowledge a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling practices, procedures and business processes.
- Experience in hands-on system configuration and analysis to deliver systems solutions.
- A good understanding of retail accounting.
