Civil Engineering Technician 5 - E&PI - Civil Site, Hybrid
Contract: 6 months
Pay rate: W2 hourly
US Hybrid – Candidate must be located within 50 miles from one of the office locations and willing to work in the office three days a week.
The Engineering Technician 5 under general supervision, performs functions requiring knowledge and use of electronic applications, standards, and document control processes/procedures in support of creating or modifying deliverable. Provides technical guidance to other engineering technicians. This role will be responsible for the development site drainage, grading, utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation.
This role will be within the Client’s Energy & Process Industries (E&PI) group, supporting client needs related to energy resources and delivery, mining, and other process solutions. These types of projects include, among others, renewable energy (solar/wind), overhead/underground transmission, power generation, and nuclear projects. Significant Civil 3D experience is required developing complex proposed grading surfaces. Knowledge of pipe/pressure networks and profiles are a plus. Surveying knowledge or background is also preferable.

Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
