The People Operations Manager performs functions to lead and direct the routine functions of the People Operations (HR) department including recruiting, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Essential functions may include but are not limited to:
- Manage the functional responsibilities for all HR disciplines.
- Monitor, review, and update all benefit and compensation plans.
- Maintain current awareness of human resources issues and related regulatory and compliance issues, conduct required research, and advise executive management team on labor related issues and compliance requirements.
- Work with labor attorneys and executive management team to investigate and resolve current or potential labor issues.
- Provide management with resources, consultation, and review of disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Prepare and submit documentation required for compliance with labor regulations including EEO reports and similar forms.
- Coordinate the participation of employees in training programs and seminars.
- Maintain discipline, investigate and resolve performance issues, document circumstances and recommend and implement disciplinary action as required. Handle employee grievances and maintain harmonious employee relations. Counsel and coach employee, provide resources required for successful performance of the job, appraise performance, and recommend changes in status.
- Manage corporate safety program and ensure safety standards are being met throughout all companies.
- Manage HRIS while working to maximize the use of the system companywide.
Base Salary Range: $66,161/year - $98,046/year This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
